Back in 1950s when modern healthcare facilities were scarce in Pattambi, K P Assainar Vaidhyar played a pivotal role in shaping the healthcare landscape of his village. He saw an urgent need for accessible, holistic healthcare grounded in ancient traditions. Armed with his knowledge of Ayurveda, a system of medicine that had been passed down through generations in his family, he set out to provide a natural, effective alternative to conventional treatments.
